
Eleos was founded by Dr. Erika Czerwinski, a clinical psychologist, ceremonial guide, and expert in integrating therapeutic practices with ceremony and spiritual healing. With over 20 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and groups, Dr. Czerwinski holds certifications in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies from MAPS, the Integrative Psychiatric Institute, and the Living Medicine Institute.
Since 2019, she has facilitated Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for individuals, couples, and groups, with a particular passion for supporting physicians, young adults, and those healing from trauma. Her work is grounded in depth-oriented psychotherapy, attachment theory, and family systems, and deeply informed by over 15 years of immersion in wisdom traditions, rites of passage, yogic philosophy, and meditation. Through Eleos, she offers immersive programs and retreats that weave together relational psychotherapy, sacred ceremony, and nature-based mindfulness.Dr. Czerwinski also provides professional training and mentorship in psychedelic-assisted therapy and serves on the boards of the Western North Carolina Psychological Association.

Joanna Duda is licensed as a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a certified clinical nurse specialist; she has many years of experience as a psychotherapist, psychopharmacologist, workshop facilitator, and consultant, specializing in complex post-traumatic stress disorder and dissociative disorders, including dissociative identity disorder. As a family medicine trained emergency medicine physician and owner of a ketamine assisted therapy clinic, Ben is dedicated to bridging the gaps between biomedicine and more holistic perspectives of health, healing, and wellness. After studying anthropology and environmental science, Ben completed a family medicine residency and fellowships in acute care medicine and point-of-care ultrasound. Although primarily working in the emergency department, Ben works in various healthcare settings including the intensive care units, urgent care, and critical access hospitals. He is also an educator and presenter, teaching procedural medicine and ultrasound nationwide and working with the Certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Program at Naropa University.
He has completed Ketamine Assisted Therapy training at The Ketamine Training Center, MDMA Assisted Therapy educational training from the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), and has earned a certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy from Naropa University. Currently he is a Primary Care Psychiatry fellow at UC Irvine Medical School and is a certification stage student of Hakomi Therapy.
As the owner and medical director of a ketamine-assisted therapy clinic in Ventura, CA, Ben is committed to the safe, intentional, and therapeutic use of ketamine, empowering individuals to explore their inner healing potential. Outside of his professional life, he finds balance through surfing, hiking, cycling, backpacking, yoga, meditation, and playing music.

Su Wasseluk (she/they) is a double board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience. Their practice philosophy centers on health equity and increasing access to care for underserved populations, and is rooted in trauma-informed principles. Their style emphasizes shared decision-making, harm reduction, and consent-based models. Su has spent the majority of their career caring for people experiencing homelessness with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders on Cape Cod. During the pandemic, they transitioned to college health, which allowed them to focus more deeply on gender-affirming and preventive mental health care. They are trained and certified in psychedelic therapy through MAPS and CIIS.
Originally from the hills of western Massachusetts, Su is proud to call western North Carolina home. They are frequently found in the forest and have logged thousands of miles on America’s long-distance hiking trails. You can also find her on her yoga mat, in the garden, or on their bicycle.

Dr. Meidad Goldman is board-certified in both Emergency Medicine and Addiction Medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Goldman trained at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and then worked as an attending physician at the UPMC Shadyside teaching hospital.
He relocated to Asheville in 2010 to accept the position of Medical Director and Department Chair of the Emergency Department at Haywood Regional Medical Center, where he worked in both administrative and clinical capacities. In 2017, he chose to follow his passion for patient-centered care and founded Concierge Medicine and Psychiatry.
Dr. Goldman has over 15 years of experience using Ketamine for multiple conditions and serves as Medical Director for our Asheville Ketamine Clinic. He has also completed training in Psychedelic Medicine through MAPS and CIIS.

Joe Tafur, M.D., is a Colombian-American integrative physician, author, and curandero. After completing his family medicine training at UCLA, Dr. Tafur spent two years in academic research at the UCSD Department of Psychiatry. After his research fellowship, over a period of six years, he lived and worked in the Peruvian Amazon at the traditional healing center Nihue Rao Centro Espiritual, training there as an Ayahuasquero. In his book The Fellowship of the River: A Medical Doctor's Exploration into Traditional Amazonian Plant Medicine, through a series of stories, Dr. Tafur shares his unique experience in Peru and his integrative medical theories.
He eventually returned to Arizona where he completed fellowship in integrative medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. With his spiritual community in Phoenix, Dr. Tafur co-founded the Church of the Eagle and the Condor (CEC). Dr. Tafur is also a co-founder of the nonprofit Modern Spirit where he assists in their educational programs and retreats in collaboration with their networks in North and South America.

Dr. Keith Lowenstein is a physician, interfaith minister, artist, and meditation teacher who has taught the art and science of yogic meditation since 1980. He holds a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Interfaith Divinity, and his extensive training spans integrative medicine, psychiatry, somatic and psychedelic therapies, nutrition, acupuncture, cranial osteopathy, and the visual arts. He serves on the faculty at the University of Arizona’s Integrative Psychiatry Program, All Faiths International Seminary in New York, and Polaris Insight Center in San Francisco.
In 1980, Keith met his teacher, Sri Mahant Swami Ganesh Anand Saraswati Giri (Ganesh Baba), a revered Kriya Yoga Master who became his mentor and spiritual guide. Under Ganesh Baba’s instruction, Keith went on to medical school and has since built a holistic private practice in Portland, Oregon, offering medical care, spiritual counseling, and lifestyle coaching. He teaches Kriya (Raja) Yoga meditation in person and online through www.KriyaBreath.com, and is dedicated to supporting psycho-spiritual growth through contemplative practice and embodied healing.

Dr. Signi Goldman is board certified in General Adult Psychiatry. She has practiced in multiple clinical settings, both in hospital systems and alternative treatment centers, and integrates these approaches into an individualized, evidence-based practice.
Dr. Goldman graduated from University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed residency training at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she was selected for an administrative Chief Residency position.
After relocating to Asheville, she ran an outpatient General Psychiatry practice before joining Concierge Medicine and Psychiatry. Dr. Goldman treats adults with all forms of mental health symptoms. She is a graduate of Psychedelic Medicine training through both MAPS and CIIS. Her extensive knowledge of research-based use of psychedelics in medicine informs our Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy program for Mental Health.

Psychologist and author of Sacred Knowledge: Psychedelics and Religious Experiences, contributed to psychedelic research in Germany in 1963-1964, from 1967-1977 at the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center, from 1999-2023 at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and currently is focused on the integration of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy in palliative care at Sunstone Therapies.

Christine is a global spiritual guide, ceremonialist, psychedelic-assisted nurse therapist, artist, author, healer, teacher and presenter. Chris serves as Program Director and Training Director for PRATI’s End Of Life Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Training, and is Lead Trainer and Operations Director for other PRATI offerings. Grounding in ecocentric ritual, ceremony and practices, and called to existential work, Chris’ seeking and mystical soul-seeing has awakened her spirit to support others to own and share their potent gifts in the world by guiding individuals and groups in embodied conscious living and dying practices through her private practice based in Denver, Colorado. Chris is a lineage carrier of the Qero mystics of the Peruvian Andes. She is a trained and certified ketamine-assisted therapist (Ketamine Training Center, 2019) and Ecopsychologist (MA 2022) and is MAPS MDMA trained (2024). As a mother who has lost a child, Chris is intimate with living and thriving with grief as a part of the medicine of life that she carries in her work in the world. She currently lives in Denver, Colorado with regular time spent in Chicago and Kythira, Greece.

At Eleos, Kenan supports strategy, growth, and culture behind the scenes. Having experienced the impact of ketamine-assisted therapy firsthand, he’s honored to help bring this work to medical professionals.
